Kate Middleton and Prince William are spending their evening with the stars at the 2019 BAFTA Awards in London. The royal couple has just arrived at the award ceremony, William in a suit and Kate dressed elegantly in a white asymmetrical gown with flower embellishments.
Kate and William were last at the BAFTA Awards together in 2018. Kate wore a emerald green Jenny Packham dress with a thin black sash around the waist. The choice came when many hoped the Duchess of Cambridge would join the other stars there and wear all black in support of the Time’s Up movement. She showed her support more subtly:
She and William also attended the awards together in 2017. Then, Kate did wear black, choosing an off-the-shoulder print Alexander McQueen gown:
Kate and William’s red carpet appearance tonight comes after Kate stepped out earlier this week for visits to two London schools for Place2Be’s Children’s Mental Health Week. She wore a bright green Eponine London shift dress for the events.
Kate also hosted a private dinner at Kensington Palace later in the week, according to the Court Circular, which lists every royals’ events. Next week, Kate will have another ritzy evening event where she’ll be able to dress up: The Duchess of Cambridge is set to attend the 100 Women in Finance’s gala dinner at the V&A Museum in London on Wednesday, which will support Heads Together’s Mentally Healthy Schools program. Her appearance will come one day after Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attend a gala performance of The Wider Earth on Tuesday.
